    Finding your next home should be exciting-not stressful. At Bovingdons Lettings, we’re here to guide you every step of the way and make your move as smooth as possible.

    Register with Us

    As soon as you start your property search, register with Bovingdons Lettings. This ensures you’ll be among the first to hear about new and upcoming properties that match your requirements-often before they reach the wider market.

    Book a Viewing

    See something you like? Our team will arrange a convenient time for you to view the property.

    Apply for Your Chosen Property

    Once you’ve found the right home, you can submit your application.

    A holding deposit will be required once the landlord has accepted your application and you have been successfully chosen for the property.

    Referencing & Checks

    We carry out full referencing using an external referencing company. They check:

    • ID verification
    • Credit history
    • Employment details
    • Previous landlord references

     

    We’re happy to discuss these checks with you beforehand if you have any questions.

    Getting Ready to Move In

    Once everything is approved, we’ll prepare your tenancy agreement and confirm your move-in date.

    • You will pay your first month’s rent and tenancy deposit (five weeks’ rent)
    • Your deposit will be protected with the Tenancy Deposit Service
    • You will be met at the property for your move-in and shown how everything works
    • An inventory and schedule of condition will also be prepared and agreed with you at the start of your tenancy

    During Your Tenancy

    Your rent is paid monthly in advance.

    We are responsive and address maintenance issues quickly. In addition, we will conduct regular property visits to ensure everything is in order and support a smooth tenancy.

    When it’s time to move out, we’ll carry out a final check against the inventory. Your deposit will be returned promptly, subject to any agreed deductions.

    We’re also happy to provide a reference to help with your next move.
